Since our inception in 1980, GSE has been helping municipal clients deliver projects that solve water quality issues that impact the communities that we live and work in. Originally focused on projects within the East Bay and Central Valley of California, we have grown over the years to deliver projects for municipal clients over the Western United States. Initially, our execution of public works projects was through traditional design-bid-build delivery methods. Over the years our ability to deliver municipal projects to our clients has expanded to include design-build, progressive design-build, CM/GC, CMAR, design-assist, on-call, and job-order-contracting. Our hallmarks of Quality, Transparency, and Collaboration are present in every project we deliver in the public sector, whether delivered in a traditional method or in alternative project delivery approach.
GSE’s Federal Division has a 40-year track record of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. With this extensive experience in federal contracting, we have successfully completed numerous complex and demanding projects for a wide range of federal clients in both busy urban centers as well as remote locations in the United States. Our team of experts includes seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the federal construction process, regulatory requirements, and security protocols. Our customers include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Energy, National Park Service, National Laboratories, Bureau of Land Management, and more. We understand and embrace our critical role in helping the federal government build and maintain infrastructure and facilities that support the needs of the American people.
GSE completed our first industrial wastewater pretreatment project in 2003. In the ensuing decades, we have assisted dozens of the premier Food & Beverage, Energy, Semiconductor, and Aerospace companies in meeting their water and wastewater treatment challenges across the Western United States. GSE partners with the leading process technology and engineering firms to deliver customized projects which meet the unique and evolving needs of our industrial clients. Our familiarity with a wide range of treatment processes allows us to estimate projects at a conceptual level, dramatically reducing project schedule and risk.
